James was born and raised in Rock Hill, SC. He is married to his lovely wife, Alli, and they have two beautiful daughters, Anna Lee and Charlie Paige. He attended the University of South Carolina, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Political Science in 2014. After his undergraduate degree, James managed his father’s estate where he gained firsthand experience in Real Estate issues and disputes. This period is what spawned his interest in Real Estate Law, leading him to attend law school at Regent University School of Law, where in 2018 he earned his Juris Doctorate.

During his law school career, James was awarded the Ronald L. Fick Book Award in both Property Law and Secured Transactions. He was also the President of both the Business Law Society and the Federalist Society. James began his career in real estate while still in law school as an intern and law clerk, and worked his way up to running offices for two different firms before he decided to open his own practice. His practice will focus on Property Law encompassing Residential, Commercial, and Land transactions in Real Estate. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the South Carolina Real Estate Bar Section, and the Young Lawyer’s Division of the South Carolina Bar.

In his spare time, you will find James outdoors, with his girls and extended family, and passionately cheering on his beloved South Carolina Gamecocks.

Owen C. Tinari, Esq., licensed in North and South Carolina, practices real estate law in the Charlotte area and surrounding counties. Originally from Philadelphia, he made the Carolinas his home after visiting frequently. He earned his bachelor’s in political science and Spanish from UNC Wilmington in 2018 and his J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2021. Owen has extensive experience handling various real estate matters, including title examination, refinancing, land development, HOA issues, landlord-tenant disputes, business structuring, eminent domain, encroachments, and partition actions. He is known for his thorough, practical approach and dedication to guiding clients confidently through complex transactions.
