Experience You Can Trust
James R. Rhyne, Jr hails from Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he was born and raised. He is happily married to his wife, Alli, and they are proud parents to their daughters Anna Lee and Charlie Paige. James earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 2014, graduating with Cum Laude honors. Following graduation, he managed his family’s estate, gaining valuable firsthand experience with real estate transactions and disputes, which sparked his passion for real estate law.
This interest led him to pursue his Juris Doctorate at Regent University School of Law, graduating in 2018. Throughout law school, James received the Ronald L. Fick Book Award in both Property Law and Secured Transactions and served as President of both the Business Law Society and the Federalist Society.
He began his legal career during law school, working as an intern and law clerk, eventually managing offices for two different law firms. His experience culminated in opening his own practice, focusing on Property Law, including residential, commercial, and land transactions. James is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the South Carolina Real Estate Bar Section, and the Young Lawyers Division.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, daughter, and extended family, and is an avid supporter of his beloved South Carolina Gamecocks.
